Our biggest wedding of 2019 was also one of our most memorable! Katie and Billy are a sweet, young couple living on the East Coast. With ties to California, specifically the Monterey/Carmel area, it was only fitting to have their wedding celebration in the picturesque region of Carmel. This breathtaking destination has always been on my photography bucket list. My husband and I have vacationed in the area several times and always talked about how gorgeous the weddings must be. Katie and Billy chose to have a traditional Catholic mass in the historic Carmel Mission and then transition to Bernardus Lodge in Carmel Valley for the reception. I loved that we got a mix of classic wedding elegance and romantic outdoor garden vibes to celebrate this day. Katie and Billy were such a laid back, trusting couple and with the Kindred Events team, the wedding day was such a success! I have so many favorite moments from this day, specifically photographing Katie in her classic 1950’s inspired Carolina Herrera gown, capturing the most lovely golden sunset and the heartfelt, emotional toasts from their closest family and friends. We couldn’t have been more thrilled with how this day turned out and are happy to share some of our favorite moments!
