Each year I make a list of business goals for my wedding off season. One of this year’s goal was to fulfill a long standing creative idea of a spring creek inspiration shoot. This past March, I finally made it happen! I asked one of our past couples, Claire and Dan, if they wanted to be my models. It was an instant ‘yes’! I knew they’d be the perfect couple to help my vision come to life.

One of my favorite seasons in wine country is spring. After the dreary winter months, where the valley feels bare and sleepy, that first burst of green is the most welcome sight! The foliage gently comes to life with delicate flowers complimenting the budding vines. The little creeks and steams that weave throughout Napa fill with water, creating a peaceful oasis meandering through town. I chose Milliken Creek for this session. I love the soft river rock, shady trees and wild grasses that grow along the banks. In the moment we stood barefoot in the flowing creek, I felt so fulfilled that I finally got to see this idea come to life!
