Kelly and Kyle are east coast transplants living and working in the SF Bay Area. They met at a bar while watching a college basketball game. Kyle was nervous to talk to Kelly but once he broke the ice, it was clear they had something special together. This active couple enjoys working out, college sports and traveling. Having spent a large portion of their relationship in a pandemic, it is clear why these two are so closely bonded. They live just a short distance from the iconic SF City Hall and wanted to make sure to capture the beautiful architecture in their engagement photos. After several weeks of rain, we got the sunniest winter day for their session. The sun bounced so beautifully off City Hall and gave us some truly dynamic light. The evening only got better as we ventured over to one of my favorite beaches by the Golden Gate Bridge. Though it was chilly, we danced around the beach and took advantage of every morsel of beauty as the sun set into the ocean. I loved the movement and playfulness of this session and am so happy we captured Kelly and Kyle’s sweet personalities. We can’t wait for their fall wedding in Napa!
