In a year that has been difficult on so many levels, this couple decided that it was most important to be married. After having to postpone their east coast wedding multiple times, Charlotte & Geoff came out to Napa Valley for an intimate elopement – just the two of them. They chose the charming Hotel Yountville to say I Do. An intimate indoor space with a fireplace, away from the wildfire smoke that had begun to settle in the valley, was the backdrop for their ceremony. Afterwards, we explored the property and ended up at some beautiful vineyards to finish up their portrait session. The smoke created a soft diffused light that gave us a warm afternoon glow. The vines were a soft green just beginning their seasonal turn. This wedding season has been unlike any other and it is these sweet elopements that are fulfilling me so much.
