This engagement sesh is an example of what happens when you have a sweet, energetic, ridiculously stylish couple and dynamic S.F weather! We waited months through quarantine for Alex and Michael’s SF engagement session and it was well worth it! We decided to meet at Sutro Baths and explore the area on foot. I suggested we start across the street where there is a large walking path. I had never explored this area even though I see it almost every time I am in the city for a session. What we found was a meadow of sorts with tall wispy green grasses and the perfect lighting. I loved that we got a new, unexpected backdrop for these two!

As the sun began to set and the fog rolled in (hello SF in the summer!), we took our shoes off and put our feet in the sand. I love the playfulness of these photos. Though the sun wasn’t shining bright, the clouds created a soft, diffused intense light that I was loving. It was a bit chilly but not freezing. There was a bit of wind that picked up the bottom of Alex’s dress so beautifully. I can’t wait to capture these two again in 2021!
