Almost 6 years ago, my husband and I were married at the Muir Beach Overlook in Marin. Since that day, I have dreamed of photographing a couple’s engagement photos at this special spot. Katlyn and Kyle were the perfect couple to share this location with. They completely trusted my vision and were thrilled to explore a new area. I always get a bit of anxiety with beach sessions as the weather is hardly predictable. I know that no matter what, we will embrace what we are given. But selfishly I wanted a golden setting sun for these two. We could not have asked for a better day! Muir Beach is mine and Alex’s favorite beach and it did not disappoint at this session! The romantic cove of the beach, the beautiful coastal-inspired homes sitting atop the lush, high surrounding mountains and the people and pups enjoying the last bit of summer light are what make this place a forever favorite of ours. I hope it is now a special place for this sweet couple as well!
