Michelle and Matt chose to celebrate with a small group of their closest family and friends among the lush summer vines of Napa Valley. It was a beautiful warm day in June, the sky had just a few wispy clouds and the vibe was one of calm. From the moment we arrived to Michelle’s suite at the Archer Hotel in downtown Napa, she was so relaxed and just ready for the beautiful day ahead. We arrived to Brix mid-afternoon for Michelle and Matt’s private first look. We enjoyed a leisurely portrait session around the beautiful Brix property prior to their intimate ceremony. Afterwards, guests grabbed a signature cocktail and mingled among the gardens. Dinner was set among the vines with long farm tables and market umbrellas. As the sun began to set, we walked out to the rows of vines set against the majestic hills of Napa Valley. I always look forward to this point of the day when I get to steal the couple away for golden hour portraits. And being that this wedding was in June, we had so much beautiful ambient light late into the evening. We departed just after Michelle and Matt cut their cake and the sun had almost completely set. It was a perfect summer day and one I am so happy to have been able to capture.
